Casey Halloran - Casey is the president and co-founder of Fastpitch Universe and is our lead pitching instructor.
Casey brings a proven track record of success and experience to all of her players. Her team accomplishments include:
3 ASA Junior Olympic New York State Championships
2 New York State Section 2 High School Championships
3 Appearances in the NCAA Division 1 softball championship tournament
Casey had a stellar collegiate career playing Division 1 softball at the University at Albany. Among her individual recognitions playing for the Great Danes:
America East All Rookie Team award
3 America East All Conference 1st team awards
America East Conference Pitcher of the Year award
America East Championship Tournament Most Outstanding Player award
The University at Albany's Female Athlete of the Year award
Upon her graduation in 2007, Casey held the UAlbany records for wins in a season (27), wins in a career (73), innings pitched in a season (227), innings pitched in a career (650), strikeouts in a season (252), strikeouts in a career (595), no-hitters in a season (3), and no-hitters in a career (4).
Casey is currently the Assistant Coach RPI.
Michelle Connors - We are very pleased to announce that Michelle Connors will now be offering hitting lessons at Fastpitch Universe. Michelle played Division I softball for the University of Albany where she was a starting infielder for all four years of her college career. Upon her graduation in 2010, Michelle was ranked 2nd all-time in UAlbany history for career doubles, 3rd in home runs, 5th in RBIs and 6th in runs scored. She was named to the America East Conference All-Rookie team and America East All-Conference 1st team in 2007. In 2008, she was named to the America East All-Conference second team. Michelle played her high school softball at Shenendehowa High School where she was a member of the 2003 New York State Championship team. She was named 1st Team All-Area in 2004, 2005 and 2006. In 2006 she was also named the Area Player of the Year.
